Rearranging Important People's Lives
RIPL is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded by
Mr. Jonathan Batiste
(pictured below with his wife Christina)
in 2006. Its' mission is to use the art of music, poetry, dance and the challenge of
entrepreneurship to academically and physically improve the lives of low-income, at-
risk youth by giving them opportunities to develop within a familiar context. Through
education and leadership training, as well as an introduction to youth
entrepreneurship, audio production, video production, job readiness training and
community service. RIPL Inc. will provide artistic and creative learning experiences
for 25-50 youth annually. These youth, from the hip-hop generation, will learn that
the wages of drugs, alcohol, gun use and gang violence is imprisonment or possibly
death. RIPL will show them that they can choose life within any situation. Jonathan
Batiste, the Founder of RIPL, is a member of Heaven Sent Outreach Ministries . If
